Oh Canada!!!!

So as it turns out....Idaho was not our favorite state (sorry potato heads! :o) so we high-tailed it through there as fast as our sweet motorcycle could take us! We actually high-tailed it to Vancouver where we were greeted by a lil' slice o' heaven! We made reservations at The Blue Horizon Hotel right on Robson street, where we could walk to everything!!! We arrived a bit road weary and frazzled, and the front desk attendant was so impressed with the tale of our 4300 mile journey that she upgraded us to a corner "superior" room on the 25th floor......oh my!!!!

....the "superior" view!!!!

We had so much fun in Vancouver! We had a great dinner and then walked all over town taking in the vibe of the city! We saw a band performing from the back of a U-haul get shooed along by the Mounties, we met a very cool and talented Native American wood carver named Andrew, who was carving on the street, we saw people dressed in mime garb running about having encounters with random passers-by....gotta love Vancouver' ay?

The next morning, we ferried from Vancouver to Nanaimo Bay on Vancouver Island. Beauty beyond the beyond!

Upon arrival, we sped to Cowichan Bay for an amazing locavore lunch at the granary and cheese shop! Oh so delicious meal in the quaintest of settings!!!!

From Cowichan we had to hurry to Victoria to catch our ferry back to the ol' US of A. We departed at dusk for our journey across the Straits of Juan de Fuca....another gorgeous crossing!

We finally tucked in at a wee motel in Port Angeles!!! No bad days!!!!
